How can the system prevent a Car or Rental Product from being rented to Multiple Customers at the same time?
In Metro Rental Management, the system can prevent a car or rental product from being rented to multiple customers at the same time by using rental availability checks based on the rental period..
1) Go to the "Rental" module by clicking on its icon in the main dashboard or using the application menu.
2) Inside the Rental module, find the "Rental Order" Dashboard.
Now, click on the "Create" button
3) Upon clicking the Create button, the system should navigate the user to the Rental Order Form View page for creating a new Rental Order.
Customer Details: Select Customer, Invoice Address, Delivery Address, and Quotation Template.
Quotation Information: Set Expiration Date, Quotation Date, Pricelist, and Payment Terms.
Order Lines: Add rental products, quantity, unit price, taxes, discounts, sections, or notes.
Add a Product: Click on "Add a Product". A new product line will be displayed. Then, select "GLS 450 4MATIC" from the Product dropdown. Once the product is selected, the Rent a Product dialog box will appear.
Used to select rental dates, check availability, calculate charges, and add the rental product to the Rental Order. Now, Click on the "Save" button.
4) Click the Confirm button. Once clicked, the Rental Order will be confirmed and its status will be updated accordingly.
5) Click on the Pickup button. Once clicked, the Validate a Pickup dialog box will be displayed.
6) View the Validate a Pickup dialog:
Note: Before validating the pickup process, verify that sufficient stock is available for the selected rental product.
Current Product Stock details: Go to Rental → Products.
7) Now, click on the "Validate" button to validate the pickup process.
8) The Rental Product Pickup has been completed successfully.
9) Verify Product Stock.
Note: After the product pickup is completed successfully, verify the product stock to ensure that the available quantity has been updated correctly.

10) Once the rental product stock is unavailable, create another Rental Order for the same product using a different salesperson and follow the same process. When the user attempts to validate the pickup, the system should display a validation message indicating that the requested rental product is not available in stock.
11) View Validate a Pickup Dialog.
Now, click on the "Validate" button to validate the pickup process.
12) View the Alert.
Note: As long as sufficient stock is available, any salesperson can create a Rental Order for the same product with the same rental date and time, and the product pickup can be validated successfully.
