How to generate different sales reports for POS?
In Metro ERP, generating different sales reports for the Point of Sale (POS) module can be achieved through several built-in reports and custom configurations. Here’s how to generate different types of sales reports for the POS module:
Metro provides a few standard sales reports for the POS module, accessible directly from the POS dashboard:
1). Standard POS Reports
Sales Details Report
- This report provides detailed information on each sale, including product names, quantities, total prices, discounts, taxes, and more.
- Steps to access:
- Go to the Point of Sale module.
- Navigate to Reporting > Sales Details.
- You can filter by date, POS session, or product to generate detailed sales information.
- Now, you can click on the print button, and then the user can easily download the Sales Details report.
- Go to the Point of Sale module.
In Metro ERP, to generate Orders Analysis for Point of Sale (POS), you can follow these steps:
Navigate to the Reporting Section:
- On the top menu bar, click on Reporting.
- Under the Reporting menu, you'll see an option for Orders. This option allows you to analyze POS orders.
Select Orders:
- Click on Orders to open the POS Orders analysis dashboard.
- You will see the list of POS orders with different default analysis views: pivot table and graph view.
Apply Filters and Grouping:
- You can filter or group the data based on various criteria, such as Date, Salesperson, Product, Category, or POS Session.
- Use the filters or custom grouping to focus on specific data points. For example, you can filter to show orders for a particular month, or you can group the analysis by salesperson or product.
Export Data (Optional):
- If you need to export the analysis data, you can do so by clicking the Export button, which is available in most views (especially pivot and list views). You can export the data in Excel or CSV formats for further analysis.
