How does the stock quantity for a BOM product of type Kit change?

​For a BOM (Bill of Materials) product of type Kit, the stock quantity typically behaves differently compared to a standard manufactured product. Here's how it usually works:

To create a Bill of Material (BOM) from the Metro ERP's Manufacturing App, follow these steps: Click Here

1) Go to the "Manufacturing" module by clicking on its icon in the main dashboard or using the application menu.



2) Inside the Manufacturing module, click on "Products >> Products" menu. This is where you can create your quotations.

Click and View the Product.



3) Click on the Update Quantity button.



We are Sale a 2 Qty of Table Product. In the screenshot, 6 Qty of Wooden Plank & 8 Qty of Screws in the On Hand Stock.



4) On Hand Qty of Product Table will be disaplyed as '2 Qty'.



The stock quantity change based on Sale Order.


 5) Go to the "Sales" module by clicking on its icon in the main dashboard or using the application menu.



6) Inside the Sales module, click on "Orders >> Quotations" menu. This is where you can create your quotations.



7) Click On the Create button to create a quotation.



8) Fill all the necessary details for the quotation including customer, products, expiration, pricelist and payment term and then Click on the "Save" button.​




9) In the quotation form, you should see a button labeled "Confirm." Click on this button to convert the quotation into a sales order.


10) This action will convert the quotation into a new sales order and change the status to "Sales Order."




Now, Click on the Delivery Tab and view the Delivery Order.



11) Then Click on "Check availability" button.



12) Click on the Validate button.

 




14) On Hand Quantity of Wooden planks & Screws (Logically the quantities will be reduced).
