How to delete product categories in POS?

To delete product categories in the Point of Sale (POS) module in Metro ERP, follow these steps:

1. Access the POS Module:

   • Go to the dashboard and select the Point of Sale (POS) module.
     
     
     

2. Navigate to Product Categories:

   • In the POS module, Navigate to the Configuration menu.
   • From the dropdown, choose POS Product Categories. This will list all the categories associated with your products.
     
     
     

3. Select the Category:

   • Find the category you want to delete. You can search for it using the search bar if necessary.
   • Click on the specific category you want to delete to open its details page.
     
     
     
     

4. Delete the Category:

   • Once in the category details, click the Action button in the top-center.
   • From the dropdown menu, select Delete.
   • Confirm the deletion when prompted.
     
     
     

Note: Please ensure that you have closed any open POS sessions before deleting the POS product categories.
